Theres something special about items of Marmot clothing. They always feel so well made, use quality materials, fit well and they always look really sharp. The Autumn/Winter 2011/12 range is no different.

We have re-introduced the great looking Marmot Spire Jacket to our range. This mountaineers waterproof jacket featuring a removable snow skirt was well loved by staff and customers alike last time round and is bound to be again this year. The new colours are great, the fit excellent with plenty of room around the shoulders for climbers physiques but most of all the Marmot Spire has the best hood currently available on any waterproof jacket! Took a peak you'll fall in love.

Another popular return to our range is the Marmot Gravity Jacket, a beefy softshell jacket that you will be able to use and ubuse anywhere for years to come.

Something to brighten up your life and keep you warm is the Marmot Alpinist Half Zip, a stylish midlayer fleece with a grid pattern design to give a maximum warmth to weight ratio that features a chest pocket, chin guard and thumb-loops.

But the big news from Marmot this season is their use of Polartec Neoshell® and their production of the fabulous looking Zion Jacket. This is a waterproof-softshell jacket. These have been attempted in the past but the breathability has usually been poor, the hydrostatic head very low and the stretch limited. That is until now, with exceptional levels of breathability and fully rated as waterproof this jacket is fantastic. It is fully taped and has a softshell lining for warmth and comfort which makes it all the more perfect for serious winter activists. Not only that, you can't fail to look good in it whether you are out for a stroll this winter or pulling off an ascent in the Alps or Highlands.
