Over the last decade the British public seems to have fallen out of love with the sports bike and has a new (bigger and heavier) mistress; the adventure bike. The Brecon Beacons are now filled with the thudding sound of BMW Boxers and KTM V-Twins rather than the howl of Japensese inline fours. Along with this, more people are loading up their bikes and heading out for weekends camping, trips to Europe and expeditions further afield. Whilst Up and Under has been renown as one of the finest outdoor shops in Wales for the last 30 plus years we worry that there are lots of bikers out there who don’t realise how much kit we have to offer them! Both Ross and John are keen bikers and use lots of the kit we sell on their own bikes on a daily basis.

We now stock Totems Cams and Totem Basic Cams the viable alternative to Aliens, loved by Andy Kirkpatrick and with massive holding power and so flexible that they won't walk out of the most marginal placement these are must have cams.

A lot of people ask us what the difference is between the Sweet Rocker and Wanderer. Although they are fundamentally similar this blog will hopefully explain why there is a difference in price and why we think the Rocker deserves its crown!

Don't forget you can reserve products for collection in store with Up and Under.

With the final installment of the Pembroke Climbers Club Guide on the shelves (Volume 2 - Range West) now is the time to replace your abb rope and we have a great offer on Mammut Performance Static Rope to help you out.

Here at Up and Under we have a demo fleet of sea kayaks. A demo of a sea kayak is the perfect way to ensure that you choose the correct make and model for what you are going to do.
