Climbing supplement to Sport Climbing on Gower

Gower New Developments 2018, is a South Wales Climbing Wiki Supplement covering climbs since the South Wales Sport Climbs Rockfax (2016) and is written by Tim Hoddy, Roy Thomas and Alan Rosier, and reprinted in June 2020 by Cockerel Books and Up and Under outdoor gear in Cardiff.

The guide includes 91 routes (only 3 requiring trad gear) on Veggie Slab, Silent Walls, Calcite Bay, Sinners Walls, Windy Buttress, The Fat Lady Wall, Carbon Slab near Rhosili, Rams Grove Seaward Crag and Sister 2.5 near Pitton. All are non-tidal with a maximum approach time of 20 minutes.

The price of this supplement covers our postage to you and a donation to the South Wales Bolt Fund. If you come into the store to pick one up we will be strongly recommending a donation to the Bolt Fund of a minimum of £4.

I did finally get there, just over 3 days later, setting what is, for now, a fastest known time for a self-supported completion of the trail.
