Self heating food

Hot Packs use Flameless Ration Heaters (FRHs) technology, originally targeted for use in military operational ration packs though now widely used on day hikes, multi-day treks, mountaineering and Duke of Edinburgh. These pouches don’t need heating- you just add water, and they still taste delicious and are filled with wholesome nutritious food! This prolongs the shelf life and makes them easy to store and transport in your pack.

To eat simply add a small amount of water to the food (a sachet is provided with every purchase), place in the heating sleeve provided with your meal and an exothermic reaction takes place, with heat and steam rapidly released, within 10-12 minutes your meal is piping hot and ready to be eaten straight out the pouch (though we advise you use a Light My Fire Long Titanium Spoon to keep things clean and easy- also available on our website search in bar at top).

MAIN MEAL SERVINGS:

Ideal for when you stop for dinner in the hills (or wherever you are) and want filling up at the end of the day, packed with nutritious ingredients to replenish and refuel your body for another day's adventure!

**The food pouches can be kept in a cool, dry place until required, with no refrigeration needed.
