Petzl Actik Core

An extremely bright and long lasting head torch which has a removable rechargeable battery. 350 lumens is super bright, yet this is on sale as the latest incarnation is a staggering 450 Lumens!

The addition of the Core unit in the Petzl Actik allows you to charge your headtorch whenever you're at a power source, and as it's removable, take a spare when you are without power for a prolonged period of time.

Red and white lighting can be produced from the Actik Core so whether you're wanting to light up the entire path or stealth past some sleeping campers, this head torch has you covered!

The New Petzl Actik Core at its full power of 450 lumens has a distance of 90m with a burn time of 2 hours, at the standard power setting which is 100 lumens the Actik Core has a range of 45m and a duration of 8 hours. Both of these have a reserve time of 3 hours and 2 hours respectively (reserve being 0.25 lumens with a range of 4m).

  • 350 Lumens (sale version) / 450 Lumens
  • Simple bettery charge point via USB
  • Elastic headband
  • Multibeam headlight for proximity lighting, movement, and distance vision
  • IPX4 Water resistant

I did finally get there, just over 3 days later, setting what is, for now, a fastest known time for a self-supported completion of the trail.
