It might sound like it belongs in a Transformers film but the new BD RockLock Magnetron really could transform the way we think about locking karabiners in the future.

The RockLock retains the same classic shape, ideal for belaying and making anchors with keylock nose preventing rope snag. However this krab locks like no other! Rather than a twist or spring mechanism, two magnetic arms in the gate and a steel insert in the nose create an easy to operate, highly secure locking system.

  • Innovative gate design uses two magnetic arms in the gate and a steel insert in the nose for super-secure, interference-free closure
  • Keylock nose prevents snagging
  • One-hand operable
  • Square hinge end helps hold belay loop securely in place
  • Slightly curved spine maximizes gate opening
