A great HMS biner that can be used with belay devices and good for rigging too

This locking biner is light due to it's relatively small size (for an HMS) and I beam construction which gives strength with the least amount of metal!  So this is a versatile locking gate as it's HMS shape works well with belay devices, the low weight means it's not a burden to have it on slings etc either, it's also big enough to take a couple of clove hitches as long as you're not using chunky ropes. A good all-rounder!

The kink in the spine allows a greater gate opening than would otherwise be the case with a gate of this size.

As well as the usual screwgate offering the other gate option is Lock Safe which is a three action gate (barrel pull, twist and open).

  • Small HMS locking karabiner
  • Large gate opening
  • I beam construction
  • Clean nose
  • Screwgate and Lock Safe gate options
  • Major Axis Strength: 24kN (gate closed)
  • Major Axis Strength: 8kN (gate open)
  • Minor Axis Strenght: 10kN
  • Gate opening: 19mm (20mm for screw gate option)
  • Weight: 54g (screwgate version)
