Fishing Headlamp or Brightest Headlamp

The Fenix HP30R is one of the brightest headlights available, it has a light output of up to 1750 Lumens. Due to the high power output this is a great fishing headlamp.

Fenix has designed the HP30R to feature an alloy head unit that helps with the heat dissipation. It then features a two piece power lead that connects to the waist mounted battery pack. This super bright head torch can be powered from two 18650 rechargeable batteries, these come supplied with it at the 2600mAh power rating. It can also be powered by 4 x CR123 batteries, however these are not rechargeable. The HP30R also comes supplied with the Micro USB charger lead to offer the complete package. For extended periods of use and to also enhance the performance figures by about 30% you may wish to get higher powered batteries at the 3500mAh power output.

If all of those wonderful specs and features are not enough, the Fenix HP30R can also be used as a power bank for items such as a mobile phone!

Rob Smith - Offa's Dyke In One Sitting - A new unsupported FKT

I set out from the official start (or end) of the Offa’s Dyke National Trail in Prestatyn with the intention of running (jogging, hiking and a lot of hobbling) – the 177 miles to the other end of the trail at Sedbury Cliffs, just outside Chepstow. I did finally get there, just over 3 days later, setting what is, for now, a fastest known time for a self-supported completion of the trail.
