Durable dual friction belay device and belay karabiner set

The DMM Beetle is a durable but relatively light and versatile belay device that all climbers will appreciate.
It replaces the classic DMM Bug which has been known and loved by many trad, wall and group climbers for years. The DMM Beetle ups the anti by providing confident braking on double or single ropes from 7.3 - 11mm in diameter by having two friction modes. So you can have a fast, smooth abseil or belay a thick rope on one side or use skinny half ropes on the other. Hot forged on the same design as the DMM Pivot this option lacks the guide mode features that many UK climbers don't need, yet hasn't been CNC'd down as much as the DMM Mantis so it will give plenty of life to even the most demanding outdoor centre.

The DMM Belay Master 2  is a belay karabiner that has safety at its heart.

The nylon crossgate means that you can be sure that the screwgate is locked properly if the crossgate is closed. It stops the chance of the screw undoing and retains the krab in the correct orientation so not weakening of the system can occur.

The plastic safety clip is held in place nicely, whilst the curvature of the bar works well with a wide variety of belay devices.  A clean nose completes this excellent strong belay karabiner.

This combination will appeal to any climber but particularly those starting out in the world of climbing due to the concentration on safety and to outdoor centres where durability is also a factor.
