Childs Chest Harness

The Edelrid Kermit is a fully adjustable children’s chest harness which is used in combination with a children’s sit harness, ideally the Edelrid Finn II which is colour coded and designed to match.

Because a young child’s center of gravity is higher up their bodies when compared to an adults, the chest harness prevents the child from tipping backwards in the event of a fall. It also provides extra support and helps the child feel more comfortable and safe.

One big advantage of the Edelrid Kermit chest harness is its range of adjustability , which allows the harness and child to grow together until the age is reached where they no longer need the chest harness. The harness design is the classic figure of 8 form, and is adjusted with one buckle.

Please not chest harness should only be used with a Sit Harness.

  • 50-65cm chest measurement
  • 180g
  • Figure of eight design
  • Lightweight
  • Fully adjustable via single Easy Glider buckle
  • Breathable mesh provides ventilation
