A durable, strong and functional biner

The DMM Aero HMS is hot forged to allow the karabiner to have an anti-snag Keylock nose and a generous rope radius of 11.3mm!  This means there is less wear on the rope and the biner, less friction and more heat dissipation when abseiling (compared with something like a figure of 8, for example) - something you'll appreciate on your next big abseil. The Aero has a very strong construction and a deep gate bend for easy rope clipping.

Other gate options include Quick Lock which is a two action gate (barrel twist and open) and Lock Safe which is a three action gate (barrel pull, twist and open).

  • Excellent value locking karabiner
  • Clean nose
  • Available with Screwgate, Quicklock and Locksafe locking systems
  • Major Axis Strength: 25kN (gate closed)
  • Major Axis Strength: 8kN (gate open)
  • Minor Axis Strength: 10kN
  • Gate opening: 19mm
