Y-shaped lanyard with friction energy absorber

A simpler alternative to the Scorpio lanyard, the Zyper lanyard absorbs the energy from a fall though the slippage of the dynamic rope through the metallic friction device. Comes equipped with a plastic clip which helps keep the excess rope out of the way. Easily attaches to the harness with a simple lark's head hitch.

  • Link between absorption rope and Y-shaped webbing protected with abrasion resistant plastic sheath
  • Connection webbing has a twist in it for lark's head hitch making it easy to attach on the harness
  • Twisted connection webbing also optimizes the strength of the connection to the harness
  • Clip at end of absorption rope means excess rope can be attached to equipment loops to keep tail out of the way with plastic clip
