A new daisy chain from Grivel.

Standard daisy chains are great for sport climbing, but have their limitations and can be dangerous when used outside them. The loops are only designed to hold a static load of about bodyweight and may fail if shock loaded in a fall.

Grivel's new daisy chain has a chain-link construction with  loops that are all individually rated to 23kN as oppose to 2kN on a standard daisy chain, meaning that it can be used as a cowstail of varying lengths or even to equalise anchors at a belay. This makes it a versatile piece of kit for sport, trad, aid or big wall climbing.

The end loop is sewn to hold a karabiner securely, making clipping slick and fumble free, while the other end has an extra long loop for easy larksfooting to your harness.

  • Chain link type daisy chain
  • Each loop rated to 23kN
  • End loop sewn to hold a karabiner securely
  • Extra long end loop for easy larksfoot-ing
