Pegging and aid climbing hammer

1966 was a good year; England won the world cup, Dr Who regenerated for the the first time and Black Diamond released the Yosemite Hammer to the then infant world of Big Wall Climbing!

The Yosemite Hammer is not just any hammer, this is the best pegging hammer on the market. Superbly crafted and perfectly balanced, like wielding a lightsaber. The Investment-cast steel head ensures every blow hits with awesome force and the ergonomic oiled hickory handle dampens vibration for ultimate control and comfort.

The pick is dropped for pin leverage and is perfectly shaped to fit all black diamond pegs. There is a clip in point for copperhead removal. The pick itself is specially shaped for tapping in copper heads. It comes with a sling and tape so you will not drop it on your partner's head or on unsuspecting ramblers hundreds of feet below you! The hole in the head fits a Black Diamond oval biner nicely so it can be easily secured.

If you are planning any big walling trip to Yosemite or anywhere else this is the hammer to have with you!
