Flat allrounder performance rockshoe

Call me old fashioned or soft but my toes just won't bend to go into down turned shoes. They have been crushed into performance shoes from before the advent of the down turned shoes and thats what they like being pushed into flat performance shoes. But can you find any on the market, not these days, it seems to be comfy and floppy, down turned or Five Ten which unfortunately don't fit my feet. But now there is a shoe for me and it could be the shoe for you. Anyone who wants good levels of performance on small edges and allround climbing at a variety of angles should try the Boreal Diabolo its a cracking shoe.

On top of this great compromise between forgiving comfort and precise performance you get Boreals premium build quality in a split leather and lorica upper with a padded tongue and reinforced double velcro closure.

The rubber is the fanatstic super-sticky FS-Quattro which has excellent tear and abraision resistance, consistant quality, hardness and performance across a range of temperatures. This is used in the sole, rand and sling shot whilst the lower heal uses an IRS System mould for a varying of shape and thickness of rubber to give cushioning and grip.

  • Split leather and lorica upper
  • Unlined
  • Reinforced double velcro closure
  • Padded tongue
  • Slip lasted
  • Half stiff midsole
  • FS-Quattro rubber
  • IRS heel

Putting the fun back into running, or ‘forgetting the gizmos’

#TeamUpandUnder member Mark Aston uses his lack of HRM to just enjoy running, looking at the surroundings and not keeping eyes glued to pace and HR monitors. Read about how he's found the fun again.
