The long awaited re-vamped Five Ten Quantum is here, and we have to say it is worth the wait! Through working with the Huber brothers, 5.10 have created a slightly downturned, stiff midsoled, breathable climbing shoe; suitable for bouldering, steep routes and long climbing sessions. Still constructed with Stealth® C4™ outsole, 5.10's most versatile compound, the rubber is super sticky on a variety of different angles and rock textures. The perforated tongue provides exceptional breathability, and the downturned toe allows for precise and controlled footwork. Being slightly wider than other models, the Quantum offers a more natural position for your foot to rest, so are comfortable for extended periods of wear.

  • Stealth® C4™ rubber outsole (4.2mm)
  • Speed lace closure system
  • Wider last
  • Ariaprene tongue

I did finally get there, just over 3 days later, setting what is, for now, a fastest known time for a self-supported completion of the trail.
