10mm Climbing Rope or 10mm Dynamic Climbing Rope

The Edelrid Python is a 10mm climbing rope that is ideal for use on Indoor Climbing Walls or Outdoor Crags. Whether you are trad climbing, sports climbing or just top roping the Python 10mm will do the Job.

Edelrid has designed the Python 10mm as a mid range dynamic climbing rope, that also features their Thermo Shield heat treatment. Edelrid Thermo Shield is a heat treatment system that makes the rope more supple for handling, it helps to make it more compact and also helps to prevent it from shrinking. Most importantly it also helps to give it a longer life span. The Python climbing rope incorporates a impact force rating of 8.9kN, while also having a fall rating of 7 factor 1.77 climbing falls.
