Schoeller Women's Pant

An epic pair of trousers for the outdoor world! The Tour Pants have an awesome amount of stretch, with a serious amount of abrasion resistance! Their feature set truly gives you some great scope for some epic adventures.

The Schoeller® softshell fabric is what creates this epic trouser, the way it has been cut and produced gives it the ultimate stretch for when you need it most. As an owner of a pair I was seriously impressed.
As part of the properties of the fabric it is also 'hyper breathable' keeping you dry and warm when you're fast moving up a crag or slow in the snow.

Feel of the fabric - This can be an issue with some winter softshells feeling hard and abrasive next to the skin. Marmot M3 Softsshell is brushed, so is soft and supple. The inner pocket fabric although a ventilation material still has a soft fleece covering to still keep the pockets as a hand warmer pocket.

Air Flow -
Not only do you want breathability but when your really are pumping it, sometimes you need a bit of airflow to take some of the moisture away. These beautiful pants have air vented pocket on the sides and as a front zip pocket. Leg vents to the rear of the lower thigh - these are designed for multisport in mind so ideal for boarders and skiers, but also great when walking and the wind is against you. Extra tip - the zips aren’t a problem when crouching or moving

Boot Gaiter - This is non-removable, fits on both boarding boots, walking boots and B2/B3 style of boot. Great for British weather! Doesn't get in the way when climbing, but can be handy when you have up draughts on the sea cliffs. The Tour pant does have a rubber grip around the hem to stop it twisting, and to help synch down when it gets really gusty. There is a side zip at the bottom of the trouser (as seen in photos) that helps get access to the gaiter, which is handy if your putting it over bigger boots to make sure their not twisting.

Cordura® Scuff Guards - An epic feature that shows how high class and techy these Softshell trousers are. Ideal when your using crampons or if like me you have a knack of catching your inner leg when walking.

Articulated Knees -
Allowing a greater range of movement, but still really nicely cut so they don't stick out and look over stretched, they appear as an intricate part of the trouser, that blends in well. The knee panel is slightly thicker but not by much.

Gusseted crotch -
As weird as it sounds if your just getting into winter mountaineering or winter sports, but this makes a huge difference in your movement and fit, especially if you have layers underneath the trousers.

Waist - Exceptionally well tailored for the feminine shape, with a super soft waist band. As trouser fit goes, they are on the higher side of waist heights, making them super flattering whatever your shape.

Belt - An accessory belt has been added also with a funky magnetic style clip. The clip is quite essentially a very practical and understated piece of this garment. It is flatter than most buckles giving less likely hood of catching, rubbing or feeling uncomfortable under a waist belt of a bag or harness.

Top Button - Marmot have thought of everything with these little features! There is a popper closure but also velcro giving you extra reinforcement after a good meal at a bothy or local pub.
