The Simple Guide Jacket is Patagonia's lightest-weight soft-shell jacket. It is made of a stretch-woven polyester that moves moisture, dries quickly, and stretches and breathes very well; with the durability to survive all day in an off-width.

This stretch-woven soft-shell will continue to breathe and protect you during any activities you do from light walking to cragging. The highly breathable and wind-resistant double-weave blend of recycled polyester and spandex, with a Deluge® DWR (durable water repellent) finish, moves with you, moves moisture, and stays as durable as you are.

The Polyester material used in the Simple Guide Jacket comes from recyclingused soda bottles, unusable second quality fabrics and worn out garments into polyester fibers.Patagonia’s proprietary durable water repellent fabric finish used in the Simple Guide Jacket, Deluge DWR, lasts substantially longer than standard DWRs. Garments with the Deluge DWR finish have like-new repellency after years of extensive use.
