Womens Winter Coat

Introducing Rab's Altus jacket with the incredible Cirrustechnology! Definitely worth a visit as the picture just doesnt do this beautiful jacket justice.

The idea is to combine the warmth to weight performance provided by a down jacket, with the water repellent properties and performance of synthetic insulation. The perfect combination! It isn't quite as good for warmth to weight as down but check out our Solus Jacket if your looking for the ultimate synthetic warmth to weight ratio. But it is Better than down at dealing with our British climate.

Designed with a durable Pertex® Quantum fabric outer the jacket is quick-drying, allowing the insulating fibres to recover quickly. It has a high enough waterproof resistance to withstand sleet, snow and a gentle shower. Perfect for the ever changing conditions that is the great British weather. The softness of the
Pertex® Quantum fabric also lends its self to smoothly going under jacket, so that it doesn't crunch up as you put the over jacket on.

  • Elasticated cuffs
  • Durable Pertex® Quantum fabric
  • Weight: 355g/12.5oz
  • 3M Featherless insulation (162g/ 5.7 oz in size 12)
  • Stitch through mini baffles
