Waterproof Trouser for Mountaineers and Climbers

Sale - RRP £300 now only £189.99!

The Jottnar Vanir LT follows the lead of it's superb big brother the Jottnar Vanir Salopette in terms of fit, function and performance, i.e. it's superb! Constructed from extremely breathable Polartec Neoshell to provide all day wear capability, the inherent stretch means that this mountaineers and climbers waterproof trouser can be worn for walk ins and routes without fear of restriction.
So what makes the Vanir LT the waterproof trouser to end all waterproof trousers from a mountaineering perspective? Well on top of the fabric choice and the great close yet unrestricted fit it is the cracking feature set.
First up is the removable braces which keeps them in place without having to wear them tightly around the waist and keeps freedom of movement at a maximum. Combine the braces with theelasticated high waist with belt and double press stud closure which all means you won't find your clothing pulling out above the waterproof pant or them opening unintentionally so there will be no cold spots around your waist and the fit will be spot on.
Moving down the trouser we find a zipped fly, reinforced seat, two hand warmer pockets and harness friendly 3/4 length side zips with internal baffles with YKK Aquaguard coil zips to keep the elements out.
The knees are articulated and reinforced for freedom of movement and reduced drag over you inner layers.
Down at the ankles is where the Vanir LT gets really exciting. For starters there are Kevlar reinforced in-step protectors, press-studs to re-inforce and protect the leg zip, then you get internal no snag ankle adjustment to synch around your boot if required and finally there is the option of using either no internal gaiter, the climbing gaiter designed for B2 and B3 mountain boots and finally the broader ski gaiter to go over ski mountaineering and touring boots.

It's an impressive waterproof trouser package and one that all mountaineers, alpinists, winter climbers, ski tourers and ski mountaineers should have at the top of their list.
