Lightweight Waterproof Jacket

Sale -RRP £85 now only £64.26 on selected colours and sizes.

The Marmot PreCip Jacket has been a top seller for us for many years as well as being a market leader and for good reason. It combines, good looks, fit, features, low weight (371g) waterproofing and breathability at an excellent price. (Don't just take our word for it, you can read the Great Outdoors - Best in Test review in the images above). But now it has upped it's standing to sit even further ahead of the field as the move from Marmot's PreCip fabric to Marmot NanoPro™ has improved breathability by a whopping 43%!

So once again the Marmot PreCip Jacket sets the standard for lightweight backpacking, hiking and mountain travel rainwear that is eminently affordable.

This truly is a well thought out and constructed jacket for the price as it includes features such as Angel-Wing Movement™ for uninhibited motion, storm baffled PitZips™ for a bit more venting, storm baffled pockets that don't interfere with rucksack straps (Pack Pockets™) and a good adjustable hood that rolls into the collar.

NanoPro's™ microporous structure is dynamically air permeable, allowing for air exchange to help shed excess moisture vapor without compromising the waterproofness or windproofness of the garment.

The pores are 30% smaller than previous generations and are very densely packed providing enhanced breathability while maintaining excellent long term durable waterproofness for such a light jacket. This pore structure is also air permeable allowing for dynamic air exchange. This air permeability combined with the enhanced breathability creates a fabric that is incredibly comfortable through a wide range of activities.
