The worlds lightest windproof jacket.

Montane have created another record breaker in the Slipstream GL Jacket. This funky functional windproof uses a new ultra-lightweight fabric from Pertex® named Quantum GL which weighs only 25 g/m2, so that the jacket itself only weighs 65g (medium). But its not just light - it still retains good strength and wind, water and abrasion resistance when compared to garments more than twice its weight. It packs down 50% smaller than a standard 44 decitex fabric jacket and comes with its own stuff sack.

The Quantum GL Jacket has a full-length zip with anti-snag baffle. The active slim fit is for runners/cyclists and those with slim upper bodies. You won't believe how light it is and what it feels like to wear. Another awesome weight and bulk saver from the masters Montane.

Fabric notes: PERTEX® Quantum GL is 25g/m2 polyamide 6 with a micro rip-stop weave. The exciting figures are; air permeability 1.0cc max, spray rating 80 / 20 and abrasion resistance 10,000+ at 12.5k PA. Machine or hand wash at 40°C with Nikwax Tech Wash, rinse well in cold water and cool tumble dry. Avoid fabric softeners. Every 6 months or so reproof the Slipstream GL Jacket in Nikwax TX Direct to maintain it's water repellancy.
