Scarpa Phantom Guide

Ultralight warm mountaineering boot

Built for anyone who wants a lightweight mountaineering boot but doesn’t want to compromise on warmth and performance.

These boots where designed in conjunction with super alpinist Ueli Steck (the guy that did the North Face of the Eiger in 2hours 47 minutes) so you know they are going to be light and at 1900grams they are. However, where these boots truly deliver is their warmth. They not only have a layer of synthetic Primaloft lining but also use varying layers of heat reflective materials in both the outer gaiter and the inner boot. The outer gaiter also uses a waterproof Outdry Membrane and a tough waterproof T zip to make sure the boot stays completely dry.
 
These boots have a very neat fit around the toe box making them precise to climb in which makes them ideal for not only Ice climbing but also Scottish winter climbing and Alpinism.
