Backpacking Leather Boots

Zamberlan's New Trail Lite boots are a fantastic companion on your next backpacking holiday and will be great for walking our british mountains and trails on your return.

Constructed with a one-piece full grain leather upper, they are tough enough to withstand all kinds of terrain whilst keeping your feet supported due to it's Foot Wrapping System, holding the foot and allowing a precise fit. A mid-stiff sole has enough support for longer walks carrying heavy packs yet is still comfortable for shorter walks in the Beacons and around the coast.

A full GORE-TEX® membrane keeps all the bad weather out and allows for great breathability, whilst a Microtex wicking nylon collar lining wicks excess moisture to keep your feet feeling comfortable when you're working hard on the trail.

Built on a men-specific last.

On the lighter side of "3 season"/rugged terrain use, fine on a lot of mountain terrain but perhaps not on the steeper slopes.

Rob Smith - Offa's Dyke In One Sitting - A new unsupported FKT

I set out from the official start (or end) of the Offa’s Dyke National Trail in Prestatyn with the intention of running (jogging, hiking and a lot of hobbling) – the 177 miles to the other end of the trail at Sedbury Cliffs, just outside Chepstow. I did finally get there, just over 3 days later, setting what is, for now, a fastest known time for a self-supported completion of the trail.
