Scarpa Ranger 2 GTX Active

The Ranger has been a favourite with many hill walkers for many years now and this is the very latest  2016 Ranger GTX which uses a lighter sole unit to make the boots a little lighter than they were.

The new design features all the credentials of Scarpa's new Activ fit technology as before: it uses the BD last for the men's foot, an insole with memory foam and foam inserts under the heel area to give better foot hold. It's all aimed at a better fit and instant comfort out of the box.

As always the Ranger uses good quality full grain calf leather and a  vibram sole with integral protective rand.

The boot is ideally suited to rambling on paths, moors and some mountain use on good paths.

  • Lighter sole unit in 2016 design
  • BD last
  • Viscoflex Activ fit insole with Memory foam
  • Co-cona lining for improved moisture control
  • Auto-fit foam inserts in the heel area
  • Vibram sole with integral rand
  • Calf leather upper
