GPS with mapping capability

The Satmap Active 12 Solo has built upon the success of the Satmap Active 10 but has got a load of improvements.

NEW: Twice the pixels of the Active 10 on the 3.5" bright screen
NEW:  Bluetooth Smarth (4.0) - for route sharing between other Active 12 units
NEW: Bluetooth Smarth (4.0) - for connectivity to heart rate monitor and bike speed/cadence sensor
NEW: Barometric altimeter for accurate pressure and elevation data

The Satmap Active 12 Solo has a card slot which takes SD mapping cards from Satmap.  It also comes with a host of accessories such as an USB cable for charging and PC connection, wall/car charger, standard carry case and 2700mAh LiPol battery.

The Active 12Solo can either be powered from 3 AA batteries (supplied), the 2700mAh liPol rechargeable battery of from the supplied car or wall charger. A multi-country adaptor is included.

Satmap can supply an enormous range of mapping cards for different parts of the UK at 1:25K Explorer mapping, and Europe too! Visit their site for details. So for example it is possible to buy separate titles which cover the Brecon Beacons National Park, Glamorgan or the whole of Cumbria. And there are many others!

The Satmap Active 12 GB Edition is a superb handheld GPS with a clear, bright screen, easy user interface, large buttons and it's plug and play approach to mapping using easy to insert cards will appeal to many.
