Handheld GPS

The Garmin eTrex Touch 25 is one of the latest handheld GPS units from Garmin.

The Garmin eTrex Touch 25 is a colour touchscreen GPS, and with its topo maps of Europe and 250,000 pre-loaded geocaches from it is ideally suited to the pastime of seeking out geocaches in the countryside, as well as being a fully functional GPS unit for serious navigation in the mountains!

The unit comes bundled with a Birdseye Select voucher to the value £20 that allows you to download 600Km2 of 1:25 OS Explorer mapping from Garmin. To do this you will first need to download for free Garmin Basecamp to your laptop or PC. The eTrex Touch 25 has a 4Gb byte memory which gives you plenty of space for extra mapping.

Other features include a compass so that the unit will give you a direction without being on the move. This is 3 axis tilt-compensated with means that the unit does not have to be held perfectly level and therefore easier to use.
