Ultra running hydration pack

The Ultimate Direction Jurek FKT Vest takes it's inspiration from the 7 litre capacity Ultimate Direction SJ Ultra Vest 2.0 which was the best-selling running hydration vest in the world. After creating the V 2.0 Scott went even more low load carrying so the SJ Ultra Vest 3.0 went down to only 6 1/2 litres in capacity with a real no frills approach. But now he's now realised that you can be super light and super fast with larger 12 litre loads so the Jurek Fastest Known Time Vest is now the way to achieve your goals.

So what do you get that's different from the V 2.0 world-beater other than an extra 4.6 litres of capacity?

The obvious starting point are the waterbottles. The new FlexForm bottles are great, they are softer than the kicker valve bottle of old, and have a nicer shape that sits flatter against the body and doesn't annoy by sitting too close to your face. Unlike really soft body bottles they don't slide down into the bottle holster when only half full, so you will always be able to access your water quickly. At 600ml in each there is plenty of water for most distances in UK conditions. Or choose one bottle for water, the other for isotonics, electrolytes or energy drinks. Whilst the bladder sleeve with hose routing over either or both shoulders will be needed for longer and warmer runs. Running pole holders have been moved to the front for quicker access and there is stacks of front storage in 6 various styles of pocket. Four stretch side pockets provide more easy access capacity and hidden within are tensioning straps for perfecting the fit. Around the back is the bladder sleeve and hanging point in a very wide zipped opening main pocket. This is overlain by another large stretch pocket and compression bungees. Your ice tolls if required can be stored here as well (blimey).
