The Roclite G 290 is a favoured all round off road shoe that can be used in almost any situation. The light weight and flexibility of the shoe lets it perform well in short and fast races, while the powerflow midsole and adapterweb eyelets support the foot for longer and slower runs.

The 6mm lugs are shaped and distributed to provide traction on multiple surfaces, they are big enough to dig in on mud and gravel, yet small enough to increase coverage on rock and hard packed trails. The G-Grip rubber increases both longevity and traction by incorporating graphene into the compound, something succesfully integrated across the Inov8 range.

Rob Smith - Offa's Dyke In One Sitting - A new unsupported FKT

I set out from the official start (or end) of the Offa’s Dyke National Trail in Prestatyn with the intention of running (jogging, hiking and a lot of hobbling) – the 177 miles to the other end of the trail at Sedbury Cliffs, just outside Chepstow. I did finally get there, just over 3 days later, setting what is, for now, a fastest known time for a self-supported completion of the trail.
