Aggressive tread trail shoe

For wet muddy conditions the Salomon Speedtrak is worthy of consideration due to its deep lugged open tread pattern. The low ride height and low heel to toe drop of 6mm helps in this regard also.

For speedy on and off the Speedtrak has the Quick Fit lace system so no knots are required!

The Speedtrak is not as supportive as heavier trail shoes but will appeal to the user wanting a more responsive shoe to the terrain with minimal weight and a shoe that can deal with really muddy conditions!

  • Agressive deep lugged tread
  • Quick Fit lace system with lace pocket on tongue
  • Lightweight design: 240g
  • Drop: 6mm
  • Midsole height: 23mm/17mm
  • Protective synthetic toe cap
  • Molded EVA midsole provides stability with minimum weight

I did finally get there, just over 3 days later, setting what is, for now, a fastest known time for a self-supported completion of the trail.
