Expedition Pack

The Lowe Alpine Metanoia is an expedition climbing pack designed for longer multi-day ascents in the alpine regions and the Greater Ranges all around the world. It has a generous capacity for big load carrying which can reach 80 litres when the floating lid is fully expanded and yet it weighs a respectable 1.7Kg.

Named after Lowe Alpine founder Jeff Lowe's famous un-repeated route on the Eiger Nordwand, the Metanoia is a celebration of Jeff's style of climbing. It is lightweight, strong, and packed with the unique features such as the double HeadLocker axe carrying system and the WebCatcher system (for secure fastening of poles and skis to the pack).

It is made from the tough Trishield Grid N630D material which has a high tear resistance.

  • Volume: 65+15 litres
  • Weight: 1.7kg
  • Back System: Snow resistant
  • Fabric: Trishield Grid/N630D
