NOW the BIG question!!!! Do we REALLY need RFID protection?

If you look on the web long enough you will see plenty of opinions on this matter. But the basic facts and stats will help us show you why we think this is important.

Statistics from http://www.theukcardsassociation.org.uk/contactless_contactless_statistics/

Show us that between March 2015 and 2016 there was a 35.6% increase in contactless cards in the UK alone.  £1,508.4m was spent in March 2016 alone, a whopping 249.9% increase over the year.

That’s a significant increase in card use and RFID availability. The availability of the scanners to commit fraud has also increased, they are available on some well-known websites to buy for as little as £30.

In the UK there is a limit spend currently (June 2016) for £30 in one transaction, but if you are abroad this is not the case. If you’re popping over the sea to Europe there isn’t a limit.

Also when used in a foreign currency in the UK there is no limit currently (June 2016).

The video below highlights products available with RFiD Protection to make life easier when your out and about:

Heather our staff member loves her Document wallet when ever she travels. Keeping her calm knowing where everything is, and that all her personal cards and passport are safe and undetectable when she's out and about. This gets used more as an everyday clutch bag when "touristing it up" but comes in handy when packing as it's small enough to fit in the top compartment of most rucksacks, keeping it handy for the airport.
