Women's Lightweight Mountaineering Pack.

Building upon the success of the previous range  called the Alpine Attack, Lowe Alpine have created a lighter pack (1kg approx) which ticks every box for someone looking for a durable lightweight rucksack that is still comfortable to carry and climb with.

The 2 ice axe attachment points are clever and simple to use with gloves on. The ice tool shaft sits under the compression strap on the front of the pack and then the headlocker plate feeds through the hole in the head of the tool. Therefore tools can be attached or deployed for use quickly.

The Alpine Ascent ND38:48 pack has a hipbelt with gear loops either side and can stow away into pockets at the base of the pack to get out of the way of a climbing harness. This leaves behind a waist strap which would be useful to stabilse the pack rather than load carry.

The pack has a traditional lid with two pockets which can float upwards to give the pack a maximum capacity of 50 litres and is removable to save weight if needed. Under the lid there is a strap to secure down a rope or a pair of crampons.

Other features include a large grab handle for clipping to belay points, a smooth snow shedding back system and external lash points.

The back panel is removable to reduce the pack weight if needed.

  • Under Lip rope and crampon strap
  • Snow shedding back system
  • Stowable hip belt
  • Removable frame
  • Hip belt gear loops
  • Wand pockets
  • Compression straps
  • Extendedable removable lid
  • External lashing points
  • large grab handle for clipping to belays
  • Weight: 1kg approx
