Child's 30L Rucksack

This one pack can grow with your child from beginning hiker to experienced trekker due to the quick adjustment of the Vari Quick shoulder harness. Since it can last all the way until they are ready for an adult backpack, it ultimately saves a ton of money because you won’t have to replace kids cartoon backpacks each season.

You’d expect that all these features would weigh down the pack and make it hard for little ones to carry on their own, but the strong hip belt that transfers weight off your shoulders goes a long way towards lightening the load.  Add in the side compression straps for stabilizing the weight into the center of the pack, and it’s surprisingly easy for even a 5 year old to wear with their essentials in it. All this and Deuter’s Alpine Back System for ventilation makes it just as comfortable as the adult version.

A great bonus of the pack is the ability to hold a hydration pack that can fit right into the Deuter Fox 30, so kids can drink through the straw secured at their shoulder all along the trail instead of having to stop for each sip.
