Travel sized wallet- RFiD protected

A handy sized Travel Wallet with security protection to prevent the unwanted reading of your personal information. Slim and compact with 6 card slots and a full-size note pocket.

The RFID wallets from Lifeventure are a great buy!

Not only are they some of the cheaper, tougher wallets with RFID for travelling but they are a really convenient size to pop in your pocket.

The basic layout of these funky wallets include 4 card pockets, 2 note pockets, ID window and 2 zipper pockets. They are ideal for when you go on your holidays and want to split your home currency, from you destinations currency.

These hardy wallets made from an abrasion resistant woven nylon fabric with PU coating and water resistant zip the wallet is durable, lightweight and element resistant. The bi-fold wallet shields the contents from radio frequency identification (RFiD) readers by stopping the information being transmitted through the nickel and copper coated polyester fabric, reducing the risk of identity theft.

How it works:

There is an image on your bank card that shows that it is RFiD activated:

NOW the BIG question!!!! Why do we need RFID protection?

If you look on the web long enough you will see plenty of opinions on this matter. But the basic facts and stats will help us show you why we think this is important.

Statistics from http://www.theukcardsassociation.org.uk/contactless_contactless_statistics/ show us that between March 2015 and 2016 there was a 35.6% increase in contactless cards in the UK alone.  £1,508.4m was spent in March 2016 alone, a whopping 249.9% increase over the year. That’s a significant increase in card use and RFID availability.

The availability of the scanners to commit fraud has also increased, they are available on some well-known websites to buy for as little as £30.

In the UK there is a limit spend currently (June 2016) for £30 in one transaction, but if you are abroad this is not the case. If you’re popping over the sea to Europe there isn’t a limit.

Also when used in a foreign currency in the UK there is no limit currently (June 2016).

It’s also worth noting that with your passports and their new RFID signals to get an RFID protective travel case for them, please take a look in our related accessories for this. For further information on RFiD products available there is a brief video below.
