Compact self braking descender

Designed for access work and controls positioning by lever operation. The Rig has been designed to be a lighter weight and cheaper version of Petzl ID descender. The Rig can be used for belaying, decending and can be locked of for work positioning therefore not needing to tie a back up. However unlike the Petzl ID the Rig dosn't not have a panic lock function or a cam device which will lock the rope if the device is put on the rope the wrong way.

  • For use with ropes 10.5 to 11.5mm
  • 380g

New Years day allowed few of us to get out (even if the weather wasn't great in South Wales) but a number were in still Snowdonia and elsewhere where it was a little nicer.
