Pulley with clamp

At 85g this progress capture pulley is perfect to keep on your harness for emergency use. Originally designed for crevasse rescue in assisted and z hoists we also feel that it is light enough that it could live on the back of your harness year round for general climbing rescue being much more efficient and smoother to use than a prussik loop.

Similarly the Petzl Micro Traxion would be ideal for use in Alpine regions for hauling rucksacks on tricky routes or if you are doing big wall routes in a day where weight is critical but you still need to haul light bags.

  • Ultra light 85g
  • Ultra compact
  • Excellent efficiency 91% - due to sealed ball bearings
  • Cam can be locked in open position so device can be used as a simple pulley
  • Works on frozen or muddy ropes
  • Use on ropes between 8 and 11 mm in diameter
  • Diagrams for use engraved on pulley
  • Crevasse rescue
  • Sack hauling
  • Self-rescue
  • Emergency ascender

January Staff Newsletter

January saw us starting to get into the swing of things again. A little snow saw many of the team in the Beacons, as well as further afield with trips to the Peak District, Cheddar Gorge and Pembrokeshire all squeezed in. New Years day allowed few of us to get out (even if the weather wasn't great in South Wales) but a number were in still Snowdonia and elsewhere where it was a little nicer.
