Swift Water Rescue PFD or Rescue Buoyancy Aid

The Palm Rescue 850 is possibly one of the best swift water rescue PFDs out there. This is packed with lots of great features, while also being finished to the highest possible standards. If you are a Swift water rescue technician, this is the Rescue PFD to wear.

Palm has designed the Rescue 850 PFD to feature a 3d cut that features a full Cordura construction. This is a tough and durable swift water rescue PFD that's easy to get on and off due to the front opening. The front opening system is easy to secure due to the 3 large, single handed opening buckles. The front opening is then backed up by the 50mm chest harness that can be removed if required. The rescue chest harness also comes fitted with an o ring for a cows tail. The high quality fit and the best levels of performance are maximised by the addition of the removable crutch straps. There are two large pockets on the front and a third storage pocket is located on the back panel. If being worn in a work situation where you may need to identify the organisation you work for, there is a Veclro panel on the back and also the right hand chest. Both of these are ideal for securing your Force badge to. (see image 3)

January Staff Newsletter

January saw us starting to get into the swing of things again. A little snow saw many of the team in the Beacons, as well as further afield with trips to the Peak District, Cheddar Gorge and Pembrokeshire all squeezed in. New Years day allowed few of us to get out (even if the weather wasn't great in South Wales) but a number were in still Snowdonia and elsewhere where it was a little nicer.
