PFD for Kayaking or Buoyancy Aid for Canoeing

The Yak Kallista is a mid range buoyancy aid that is ideal for adults and children alike. It is a great PFD aid for canoeing and is also ideal for use with sit on top kayaks.

Yak has designed the Kallista to be made from soft flexible foam that shapes easily and contours to the body well. It is very easy to get on and off due to the front access zip. Once the PFD is located on the torso there is a 40mm chest belt that will start to secure a snug fit. The tension straps that are located on each side of the PFD will then trim the fit while the final adjustment is made by the padded adjustable shoulder straps. Located on the front right hand chest of the Kallista PFD is a small zip pocket. Internally with in the pocket there is then a loop of cord that is ideal for securing small item such as car keys.

February Staff Newsletter

February was a busy month in the shop. As well as a number of reps coming to see us, and a number of visits to make, we also attended the Run, Walk, Crawl Brecon to Cardiff Ultra, and hosted a climbing shoe demo with Tenaya at local bouldering wall Spot Climbing. We still managed to get out, and members of Team Up and Under could be found in many parts of the UK; including in the Brecon Beacons, the Lakes, South Downs, Scotland, as well as further afield in Chamonix and George L still in Thailand.
