Top of the line Sea Kayaking Cagoule
The Palm Bora is a high specification paddle jacket that is ideal for Sea Kayaking and it's also suitable for Inland Touring or Canadian Canoeing.
Packed with loads of features to keep you comfortable in poor conditions, the Bora is a perfect Cag for rough conditions and cold water.
For keeping the elements out, the Bora has a helmet compatable hood, with volume adjusters that mean it fits extremely well when a helmet is not worn, or beanies/caps are worn underneath. The hood rolls down into the fleece lined outer collar, which along with the sealing inner collar use offset zips to aid venting off. There are also double wrist seals  with internal Latex gaskets, and a double waist seal which works in conjunction with a spraydeck to keep as much water out as possible.
The Bora also has a large twin zipped front pocket, with a fleece lining, and reflective piping along are shoulders and hood, helping you stand out in low light. The offset zips of the collars mean that it's easy to open and vent off if you're working hard, and the velcro and poppers mean loose fabric doesn't get in your face. When the collars are zipped up, there's no zippper rubbing against your chin, and the laser cut holes mean you can have your face tucked into the collar and still breath.
Its constructed from Palm's XP3 ripstop fabric, which is light, supple and durable, and along with the '3D cut' mean there's unrestricted freedom of movement. The YKK aquaguard zips used throughout allow as much water resistance as possible is provided to pockest and collar.
Combining the Bora with a salopette such as the Palm Ion Bib, or the Peak UK Explorer Salopette, gives a huge amount of elemental resistance, which, while not quite as good as a full one piece suit, allows for many more combinations and more year round use.

Palm also make the Bora with a female specific cut - you can find the Bora Women's here

February Staff Newsletter

February was a busy month in the shop. As well as a number of reps coming to see us, and a number of visits to make, we also attended the Run, Walk, Crawl Brecon to Cardiff Ultra, and hosted a climbing shoe demo with Tenaya at local bouldering wall Spot Climbing. We still managed to get out, and members of Team Up and Under could be found in many parts of the UK; including in the Brecon Beacons, the Lakes, South Downs, Scotland, as well as further afield in Chamonix and George L still in Thailand.
