Whitewater Cag

The Peak UK Creek is a top of the range whitewater paddling cag. The Creek uses a fully articulated cut along with tough breathable fabric to give a bombproof jacket.

The Fabric is Peak UK's own X4 material, a 4 layer fabric with a tough mid/heavy nylon exterior that has a DWR finish for water repellency. The interior Tricot backer is also very hardwearing, protecting the mid layers and helping to extend the lif of the jacket. The Creek also has ripstop Cordura on the shoulders and elbows.

The Seals are all doubled - neck with latex and supersoft Neoprene cone, wrists are latex with adjustable Velcro/Neoprene Aquaout seals and the waist has twin fabric layers, the outer the X4 fabric and the inner  Peak's lighter X2.5 fabric with a grippy band.

Peak also have the option of adding extra impact protection into the Creek jacket, with pockets for elbow, shoulder and backpads.

  • Articulated cut with bent elbows
  • Fully taped seams
  • Breathable and durable X4 heavy weight nylon with 25m waterproofing
  • Ripstop Cordura shoulders and elbows
  • Latex inner neck with supersoft neo outer cone seal
  • Latex inner wrists with Aquaout outer seals
  • Aquaout outer waist, X4 fabric inner and grippy elastic
  • Sewn hole drainage system between neck seals and elbow fabric
  • Option of adding high impact resistant elbow, shoulder and back pads for extreme creaking action (sold separately)

February Staff Newsletter

February was a busy month in the shop. As well as a number of reps coming to see us, and a number of visits to make, we also attended the Run, Walk, Crawl Brecon to Cardiff Ultra, and hosted a climbing shoe demo with Tenaya at local bouldering wall Spot Climbing. We still managed to get out, and members of Team Up and Under could be found in many parts of the UK; including in the Brecon Beacons, the Lakes, South Downs, Scotland, as well as further afield in Chamonix and George L still in Thailand.

January Staff Newsletter

January saw us starting to get into the swing of things again. A little snow saw many of the team in the Beacons, as well as further afield with trips to the Peak District, Cheddar Gorge and Pembrokeshire all squeezed in. New Years day allowed few of us to get out (even if the weather wasn't great in South Wales) but a number were in still Snowdonia and elsewhere where it was a little nicer.
