Sea Kayaking Drysuit or Drysuit for Sea Kayaking

The Palm Bora suit is a top end drysuit for sea kayaking. Offering lots of protection from the elements it features a tough and durable construction and plenty of freedom of movement.

Palm has designed the Bora sea kayaking drysuit to feature their 4 layer fabric which offers good levels of durability and also breathability. The Bora suit is easy to get on and off due to the rear access zip. This wraps well around the torso so it’s also easy to zip and unzip yourself.

The bora suit features a GlideSkin neoprene neck gives a good seal against the water. While the neoprene is not as watertight as latex the comfort far outweighs this! The neck then features a large roll away hood which also incorporates a large zipped collar. The inside of the collar is then fleece lined for warmth and added comfort. Further comfort is then achieved by two large hand warmer pockets on the front, these are also fleece lined!  The wrist seals are a twin system that incorporates a latex inner and then features an adjustable outer, while the feet are protected by fabric socks. To ensure that this sea kayaking drysuit performs and lasts well the elbows, knees and also the seat feature further reinforcement.

Further features also include reflective detailing on the arms and wrists for added safety; while the double waist system creates a good seal with used in conjunction with a neoprene spray deck.

February Staff Newsletter

February was a busy month in the shop. As well as a number of reps coming to see us, and a number of visits to make, we also attended the Run, Walk, Crawl Brecon to Cardiff Ultra, and hosted a climbing shoe demo with Tenaya at local bouldering wall Spot Climbing. We still managed to get out, and members of Team Up and Under could be found in many parts of the UK; including in the Brecon Beacons, the Lakes, South Downs, Scotland, as well as further afield in Chamonix and George L still in Thailand.
