Entry Level Drysuit or Drysuit for Kayak Fishing

The Typhoon Hypercurve is an entry level drysuit that is ideal for sit on top kayaking and also kayak fishing. With a rear access zip this is easy to get on and off even on your own.

Typhoon has designed the Hypercurve drysuit to be basic surface watersports drysuit. Its requirements were, easy to get on and off, offers great simple features while still featuring a high quality fabric and construction. The drysuit features a 4 layer fabric construction that's tough, durable, waterproof and breathable. The arms and legs are articulated for extra freedom of movement. This drysuit is easily accessed via the rear zip that runs across the shoulders and down the tops of the arms. They have opted to use a YKK plastic PU zip as it is fairly flexible to maintain the freedom of movement. Once you have got the drysuit on, there is an Internal set of braces that  keep the trousers up and in the correct position. The feet are protected by latex socks, while the neck and the wrists seals are both GlideSkin neoprene cones. These neoprene seals offer great levels of comfort and work well to prevent the water from getting in. The knees and also the seat feature a PU reinforced panel, this helps to enhance the durability in these key wear areas.

February Staff Newsletter

February was a busy month in the shop. As well as a number of reps coming to see us, and a number of visits to make, we also attended the Run, Walk, Crawl Brecon to Cardiff Ultra, and hosted a climbing shoe demo with Tenaya at local bouldering wall Spot Climbing. We still managed to get out, and members of Team Up and Under could be found in many parts of the UK; including in the Brecon Beacons, the Lakes, South Downs, Scotland, as well as further afield in Chamonix and George L still in Thailand.
