Originally designed for the Paddlesports market the original Multisport carved out a huge following amongst people from a whole variety of different disciplines who are looking for a high performance, robust, back zip suit. For Winter ’09 we have tried to improve this great even more with Multisport 3. Firstly we have added a ladies version to the range, this is in answer to the ever increasing number of requests that we get for a dedicated high end ladies suit. Both the mens and ladies have seen some tweaking to the wrist and ankle cuffs to reduce bulk and both now feature a new dual adjustable outer neck and both also have improved reinforcing. Both come in Black and Blue, Royal for the mens and Electric for the ladies.

Typhoon’s latest development of their surface suit is again a great piece of gear. Although primarily designed for the sit in market due to its extra waist tube for holding a spraydeck, it is still extremely comfortable and can be used for rafting and sit on top kayaking.

The soft quad ply material is breathable and its great flexibility does not impede movement, and the brass zip across the shoulders is unnoticeable once you get used to it, and remains watertight through all the situations I put t through. The Latex gaskets also provide exceptional seals at wrists and neck.

Minor points against are the internal braces, which have too much material in them, and the external neoprene neck seal, which when tightened can show the gasket.

Other products worth considering in a similar price range are the Peak Creek One Piece which has an ingenious entry system through the legs of the suit, and the Palm Torrent Suit.
