Five Ten Water Shoes or Ghyll Scrambling Shoes

The Five Ten Canyoneer 3 Water Shoe is a top end option that is ideal for white water kayaking, raft guiding and also open canoeing. The lace up styling makes it easy to get on and secure while the Stealth S1 Rubber Sole unit is supper grippy and supportive.

Five Ten have designed the Canyoneer 3 to have a Stealth S1 Rubber sole unit which gives really good levels of friction. This is always required when canyoneering to maintain your safety. The lugs on the Canyoneer 3 are far deeper than the older models and this is ideal for white water kayaking, as when your scouting the river bank in wet conditions it offers better grip as the lugs dig deeper into the ground. The water shoe is easy to get on and off due to the large opening and it is then easily secured to the foot by an asymmetric lace.  The main upper of the shoe is made from a synthetic mesh and this then interlocks with the welded runner rand for maximum levels of durability.

January Staff Newsletter

January saw us starting to get into the swing of things again. A little snow saw many of the team in the Beacons, as well as further afield with trips to the Peak District, Cheddar Gorge and Pembrokeshire all squeezed in. New Years day allowed few of us to get out (even if the weather wasn't great in South Wales) but a number were in still Snowdonia and elsewhere where it was a little nicer.

December Staff Round Up

This December didn't see us out and about quite so much. It's our busiest time of the year, so it all hands to the deck and with most Annual Leave used up by now. However, we all still managed to fit something in, and the Christmas period gives us all a few days off where the shop is closed, meaning traditional Boxing Day / New Years Eve/Day walks/swims/runs/paddles are all fitted in.
