Kayak Paddle Mitts or Open Palm Kayak Gloves

The Peak UK Open Palm Mitts give cold weather protection whilst maintaining contact with the kayak paddle. Featuring a 2mm super stretch neoprene construction these will keep you warm on all your winter kayaking trips.

Peak UK has designed these open palm kayak gloves to allows the fingers and/or thumb to be removed from the paddle mitts easily when greater dexterity is required. However they remain on the wrist and thus preventing loss. As opposed to kayaking gloves, these paddlemitts will keep your hands warmer in general as the fingers can provide warmth for each other. A small piece of stitching helps keep the tip of your index finger in the mitts and prevents your fingers slipping through the open palm accidentally), unlike a pair of kayak pogies these paddle mitts can also be worn away from the kayak paddle.

February Staff Newsletter

February was a busy month in the shop. As well as a number of reps coming to see us, and a number of visits to make, we also attended the Run, Walk, Crawl Brecon to Cardiff Ultra, and hosted a climbing shoe demo with Tenaya at local bouldering wall Spot Climbing. We still managed to get out, and members of Team Up and Under could be found in many parts of the UK; including in the Brecon Beacons, the Lakes, South Downs, Scotland, as well as further afield in Chamonix and George L still in Thailand.
