We provide a range of helmets that are ideal for kayaking and canoeing. This range includes models that are great for individual use. There are also models such as the Predator centre helmet that is very well suited towards Group and Contract work.

All of our helmets comply to EN1385 (the standard for watersports helmets sold within the UK).

The most important thing about a helmet is that it fits properly. If you have any questions about sizing or adjustability, feel free to get in touch with us before ordering.

To provide a range of fit and style options we stock a wide variety of helmets. Also to make sure that you keep your looks we also supply Palm polo faceguards which are great for starting your polo career, then as you progress we offer the Clear Vis Faceguard. which does offer greater visability.

Our helmets are made of either plastic or of composite materials, the latter tending to be more radical designs. Fullcut helmets have shells and padding that come down below the ears. They offer the greatest level of protection, but some paddlers find sidecut, or halfcut, helmets (cut over the top of the ears) more comfortable and convenient. Remember that brightly coloured helmets are more easily visible in white water, too.

For a one-size-fits-all fullcut helmet for beginner paddlers, try the Palm AP2000. The Palm AP4000 is the sidecut option aimed at the same level. For kids, we recommend the Protec Ace Water Junior as a starter helmet.

For something a little more tailored in size, some good options are the very protective Protec Water Classic Full Cut, neat, tidy and striking Yak Kontour and popular Protec Ace Water. For those who may want your ears covered one day, but exposed the following should check out the Protec Ace Wake. The WRSI Current series can be customised with foam inside, for a perfect fit.

Our top of the line helmet range includes the sun-peaked Sweet Strutter, which comes in a range of very stylish colours and is a favourite choice for those who want the best and lightest. Our top of the range Sweet Rocker provides the highest amount of protection suitable for creek boating and other rocky adventures!
