Best Kayaking Helmets or Sweet Kayaking Helmet

The Sweet Protection Wanderer is one of the best kayak helmets available. This kayaking helmet offers great levels of protection and also excellent comfort due to the three size options.

Sweet has designed the Wanderer kayak helmet to feature an ABS Thermoplastic shell which offers great levels of impact resistance while also being exceptionally durable. Within the outer shell they have then incorporated an EPP shock absorbing liner to reduce the feel of the impact. This shock absorbing liner then features a coolmax liner which is comfortable next to the skin, it helps to keep you cool in the summer and makes it feel warmer in the winter. The Sweet Wanderer also comes supplied with a packet of fit pads to help trim the fit to perfection, while the rear of this great kayaking helmet is fitted with a rear Occigrip which helps to ensure a secure and firm fit on the paddlers head.

Up and Under WATERSPORTS BLOG

February Staff Newsletter

February was a busy month in the shop. As well as a number of reps coming to see us, and a number of visits to make, we also attended the Run, Walk, Crawl Brecon to Cardiff Ultra, and hosted a climbing shoe demo with Tenaya at local bouldering wall Spot Climbing. We still managed to get out, and members of Team Up and Under could be found in many parts of the UK; including in the Brecon Beacons, the Lakes, South Downs, Scotland, as well as further afield in Chamonix and George L still in Thailand.

January Staff Newsletter

January saw us starting to get into the swing of things again. A little snow saw many of the team in the Beacons, as well as further afield with trips to the Peak District, Cheddar Gorge and Pembrokeshire all squeezed in. New Years day allowed few of us to get out (even if the weather wasn't great in South Wales) but a number were in still Snowdonia and elsewhere where it was a little nicer.
