Made from a combination of polyester and spandex, this thermal base layer gives a very comfortable fit. The compression fit controls muscle vibration which helps reduce fatigue.

The material is also designed to trap air in micro pockets to help keep you warm. It is also extremely quick drying and UV protective. It is also much tougher than natural fabrics such as merino wool and more capable of standing up to the demands of white water kayaking.

These thermals are perfect to wear under a dry suit or cag either on their own or in combination with a full thermal suit such as the Nookie Iceman for ultimate insulation. They can also be worn on their own and work well as rash vests in the summer months.

February Staff Newsletter

February was a busy month in the shop. As well as a number of reps coming to see us, and a number of visits to make, we also attended the Run, Walk, Crawl Brecon to Cardiff Ultra, and hosted a climbing shoe demo with Tenaya at local bouldering wall Spot Climbing. We still managed to get out, and members of Team Up and Under could be found in many parts of the UK; including in the Brecon Beacons, the Lakes, South Downs, Scotland, as well as further afield in Chamonix and George L still in Thailand.
